In this vital role, you’ll lead a dedicated team, ensure high-quality care during non-business hours, and make a direct impact on the lives of individuals with complex mental health needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Evening Shift Coordinator, you’ll oversee operations across four residential homes, coach staff, and ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Evening Leadership & Oversight
• Coordinate shift operations across 4 residential homes, ensuring coverage, routines, and resident engagement.
• Support and coach staff to deliver consistent, goal-aligned services.
• Maintain documentation quality and shift communication, including reports and safety checks.
Client-Centered Support
• Participate in resident programming and recreational/social activities.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate treatment goals into evening routines.
• Communicate with families and natural supports as needed.
Operational & Clinical Collaboration
• Ensure incidents are reported and documented per policy and licensing requirements.
• Monitor medication protocols and provide support in coordination with nursing staff.
• Uphold financial systems related to resident and program funds.
Technology & Compliance
• Use tools including EHR, Outlook 360, DATIS, Relias, and NetSuite.
• Follow all HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Serve in the residential department’s on-call rotation.
Schedule:
• Evening shift: 2:00pm–10:00pm
• Must be available 1 weekend evening per week
• Example schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday (finalized with supervisor)
• Based in Bradford, VT; travel between nearby homes is required
What You’ll Bring:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 2 years’ experience in human services or mental health
• Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to coach staff, coordinate services, and problem-solve in real-time
• Computer literacy and familiarity with documentation systems
• Valid Chauffeur’s license (or state equivalent) and clean driving record
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Travel between local program sites
• Moderate physical activity (e.g., bending, lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Evening hours with occasional overnight travel or training
