FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Upper Valley Haven Provides Thanksgiving Meal Kits to Community in Need at Turkey Day Event Hartford, VT – November 15, 2024 – Upper Valley Haven is excited to host its annual Turkey Day drive-through event, providing Upper Valley community members with all the ingredients needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal at home. The event will take place on Saturday, November 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hartford High School. Households are invited to drive through to pick up a frozen turkey, fresh vegetables, stuffing mix, cranberry jelly, pie filling, and more. No advance registration or documentation is required to participate. The Good Neighbor Health Clinic will be offering free flu and COVID-19 vaccinations during Turkey Day for individuals aged 18 to 64.
If individuals are unable to attend Turkey Day, Upper Valley Haven’s Community Food Market will be open for meal pickups on Monday, November 25th, and Tuesday, November 26th, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Please note that we cannot reserve turkeys and supplies are limited.
