DESCRIPTION
The Montshire Museum of Science is renowned throughout the region for its summer camp experience. We are currently seeking our next cohort of Camp Counselors to help develop and lead camp programs for the 2024 season. Camp sessions will be open for those entering grades 1-6 in the fall.
Montshire educators will provide support throughout the summer with pre-camp orientation and We have several opportunities at the Montshire Museum for regular staff positions, as well as seasonal and volunteer opportunities. The BIPOC Community Navigator, for the BIPOC Home & Business Ownership Project, will seek to foster BIPOC homeownership, business ownership, and belonging in the broader Upper Valley region of VT and NH. Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a new position and offers a great opportunity to collaborate with diverse community members and to shape the body of work. The BIPOC Community Navigator will build strong community relationships, organize events, connect Youth Violence Prevention EducatorThe WISE Prevention Education Program (PEP) facilitates programming to end gender-based violence across the Upper Valley of NH/VT. WISE has provided evidence-based prevention programming in schools for over twenty years. Our education grounded in a feminist and public health informed theory of change that invites every person to join us in ending violence. The Youth Violence Prevention Program (YVP) works with students, educators, and parents in 10 school districts to Program AdvocateWISE Advocates are integral to our mission of leading the Upper Valley to end gender-based violence. Program Advocates are responsible for providing sophisticated, well-coordinated advocacy for victims of gender-based violence, their family, friends, and communities.
