Are you passionate about helping people in crisis? West Central Behavioral Health is growing our innovative Mobile Crisis Outreach program, providing rapid, community-based behavioral health support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal: reach individuals experiencing a mental health crisis before it escalates to the point of hospitalization.
We're currently hiring for a Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, working as part of a two-person mobile team that responds directly to individuals, families, and community partners who need support outside of typical business hours.
What You'll Do
Provide rapid response to crisis calls and face-to-face intervention requests
Conduct on-the-spot clinical assessments of complex behavioral health situations
Develop and implement appropriate crisis intervention plans in collaboration with clients, families, and community responders
Consult on and help facilitate Voluntary Inpatient Admissions, Partial Hospital Program referrals, Conditional Discharge Revocations, and Involuntary Emergency Admissions
Provide short-term crisis stabilization follow-up as needed
Partner closely with local police departments, EMS, Community Health Centers, and other community-based providers
Who We're Looking For
Master's-level clinician (or actively enrolled in a relevant Master's program, with mobile crisis or mental health experience)
Sound clinical judgment under pressure and strong de-escalation skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a two-person field team
Strong collaborator with law enforcement, EMS, and community partners
Reliable transportation for community-based response
