Interpretive Park Ranger (Seasonal)

Operated by the National Park Service, Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park in Cornish, NH preserved and interprets the home, artwork, properties, and life of renowned sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and other artists?within?the Cornish Colony. Duties include: • Staffing a visitor center and information kiosk to orient visitors and collect entry fees • Developing?and presenting ranger-guided tours, informal interpretive experiences, and educational programs • Supporting special events including Sunday Concerts and the Art in the Park Festival, community outreach, and Junior Ranger activities. Seasonal rangers work Thursday – Monday from May 4 to early November including holidays. The general tour of duty is from?8:30am to 5pm, but evening work may be occasionally required. This opportunity is open to U.S. citizens in the local commuting area. Government housing is not offered. The anticipated start date may be delayed until a background check is completed.
