The Hand to Heart Project is a 18-year-old nonprofit program that provides free in-home massage and compassionate touch to people with cancer, and to their caregivers. For most of our history, we worked in a couple dozen towns here in the Upper Valley area, but over the last several years, we have expanded a great deal. Today, we have a team of massage therapists offering our service in more than 100 towns in New Hampshire and Vermont.
We are looking for just the right Upper Valley-based person to fill the new position of Administrative Assistant. It will be a part-time job of 15 hours per week, mostly remote but with some in-person meetings/events. The right person will be organized, adaptable, able to work independently, have good computer skills, and be competent with the Google Suite and/or Office programs. This employee will be working with sensitive client information, and will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality. Responsibilities will include:
Database management
Filing/record keeping and maintaining documentation
Providing support to team members
Occasionally attending community outreach events
Donation processing and acknowledgments
Packing and sending program materials
Assisting with orientation and onboarding
Assisting with fundraising
Preparing metrics and documents for board meetings
