Our firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our  team in providing personalized tax, audit, consulting, and small business accounting services to our wide variety of clients. Primary Responsibilities:

Manage assigned responsibilities and deadlines while working directly with clients on multiple tasks including:

  • Prepare federal, state, and amended income tax returns utilizing client data, financial reports, reconciliations, and other accounting information.
  • Interact with a wide variety of clients including individuals, S & C corporations, partnerships, estates & trusts, non-profit organizations, and small businesses.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Perform entry-level assignments utilizing the firm’s tax and audit research tools.
  • Expand the customer experience in an environment that combines innovative technology, techniques, and procedures.
  • Deliver high quality phone, email, and in-person customer service to all clients.
  • Uphold the firm’s professional code of ethics and business conduct.

Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Math, or another related area
  • Ambition to actively pursue of CPA or EA designation
  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software is preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a professional business environment is preferred
