The Upper Valley BIPOC Network invites all persons of color residing within the greater Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire to attend an evening of networking and fellowship.
The Social will take place on Tuesday, May 9 from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 35 N. Labombard Rd, Lebanon NH. Admission is free and appetizers and a drink ticket are included for all attendees (over age 21 for any alcoholic drinks).
Childcare is available during the event.
The purpose of the social is to provide an opportunity for members of the BIPOC community to make connections, meet new people, share stories and begin building a community in the Upper Valley.
Special guest speakers include Julius Turner, co-founder of the Upper Valley BIPOC Network, Emmanuel Ajavon, Associate Director of Business Leadership Programs, Tuck School of Business, and Dr. Chloe Poston, Vice President for Culture, Belonging, and Strategic Engagement at Dartmouth College.
The Upper Valley BIPOC Network is an initiative under the Upper Valley Business Alliance in partnership with Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Cancer Center, Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine, and Dartmouth Health.
