'Tis the Season Lebanon's Downtown Winter Celebration

Come explore downtown Lebanon, NH and celebrate winter and the holiday season with horse-drawn carriage rides, food drive for LISTEN, musical entertainment, crafts, refreshments, a tree-lighting ceremony and visits with your favorite Frozen characters.

9:00 am - 3:00 pm Alice Peck Day’s Winterfest Artisan Fair and Craft Crawl

Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital and the Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont and New Hampshire are hosting their second annual holiday art and craft fairs - together! Shop local this season at the Winterfest Artisan Fair on Saturday, December 2: Jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets), Holiday Cards, Knitted Socks and Crochet Hats, Ornaments, Tumblers, Kitchen Towels, Pottery, Leatherwork, Gnomes and more!

Handcrafted items such as wreaths, ornaments, jewelry, hand-knitted hats, socks, dishcloths, quilted table runners, placemats, machine embroidered bags, napkins, holiday dish towels, holiday shadow boxes, raffled gift baskets, gorgeous handmade quilted throw raffle and lots of baked goods! All proceeds benefit local charities and Senior LHS Girl's Awards.

9:00 am - 5:00 pm Upper Valley Music Center Student Recitals

@Upper Valley Music Center, 8 South Park St. Lebanon, NH

Celebrate the holidays with music! UVMC students will perform in recitals from 9 am to 4 pm next door at the First Congregational Church. At 10 am, families with young children are invited to a Songs of the Season class to sing, dance and play holiday songs. Everyone is welcome for an open house at UVMC from 3 pm to 5 pm, and to join us for caroling around the tree in Colburn Park at 5 pm. Find all the details at uvmusic.org/holidays.

AVA’s Open House will feature selected artist studios open to the public, demonstrations, and fun art-making activities throughout the Carter-Kelsey Building (CKB) building and in the Sculptural Studies Building; 11 am -4 pm. Following the open house there will be a holiday artist reception and exhibition opening from 5-7 PM, with light refreshments to be served.

Hear those sleigh bells ringing? Santa is coming to a neighborhood near you! Come on out to the sidewalk to wave to Santa and receive a special treat from the North Pole. He will be getting a tour of neighborhoods in West Lebanon and Lebanon.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides by Streeter Woods Farm, Musical Entertainment, Food Drive for the LISTEN Food Pantry with the Girl Scouts, Purchase your Christmas Tree/Wreath from the Boy Scouts, Refreshments, Holiday Crafts with Ledyard Charter School, and Visits with your favorite Frozen characters. Double Treble (MLS & HSS Chorus) performance on bandstand at 4 pm. Caroling with UVMC and Double Treble from 5 pm to 5:15 pm. Tree lighting ceremony at 5:15 pm.
