What happens when Washington, D.C.’s premiere political satire group – The Capitol Steps – calls it quits after nearly 40 years? Most folks would agree that it was a great run and walk away but, for an intrepid group of cast members and a co-writer, they couldn’t bear to live in a world without bipartisan belly laughs.

Their solution? The Capitol Fools: the new and improved comedy troupe that puts the “mock” in democracy and pokes fun at the absurdity on both sides of the political divide.

On the heels of Super Tuesday and Town Meeting Day, The Fools arrive in the Upper Valley with many beloved bits from The Capitol Steps days (including the mind-boggling backward-talking spoonerisms) along with breakneck costume changes, over-the-top impressions, and all-new song parodies and skits reflecting the day’s news.
