Come get your science on at our next Suds & Science event featuring Dr. Lilly Linden (Dartmouth) on March 6, 7 pm at the Vermont Center for Ecostudies' offices. Dr. Lilly Linden will talk to us about some novel genera of frogs from the Western Ghats of India. While several species of amphibians seemed to thrive in the heterogeneous agricultural landscapes that she worked in, Lilly will also talk about the challenges and unique opportunities of working in landscapes with high agricultural and tourist pressures. If you haven't been to a Suds & Science event, then your time has come to join us with a beverage at the Upper Valley’s premier science discussion series. Suds & Science isn't some boring academic talk with mindless PowerPoint slides--no thank you. Instead, picture a scientist standing in your living room--talking with (not at) you and your friends. Engage them, ask questions, and leave knowing more than you did when you walked in….and did we mention there’s no PowerPoint? We'll provide light snacks and a punch, but you're most welcome to bring your own food and beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) to this event. The doors will be open by 6:30 pm if you'd like to come early. See you there!
