Harold Shapiro, of Guilford CT, a photographer and teacher well-known for his portraiture and night photography, has two lifelong passions: photography and music. In his new body of work, Luminous Instruments, Shapiro plays with light and long exposures to infuse the images of a large range of musical instruments with dynamism. This award-winning new work, which he considers the culmination of his career, will be on exhibit at the New England School of the Arts. Artist talk at 6:30pm.
