Our goals are, first, to better understand underlying forces in global migration as they intersect with American politics. Second, to better understand Congressional legislation, Executive Branch policies and statements, and what the presumptive presidential candidates of both major parties are saying.

Peter Rousmaniere has been studying American and global migration of 20 years through his blog, workingimmigrants.com and numerous articles and addresses. He has led Osher courses on immigration. His special focus has been low wage immigrant workers. He has an BA and MBA from Harvard University.
