Help Rain Soak and Slow (Sugar River Area)

When water falls and fails to soak into the ground, it does not stop at the property line - it keeps running, picking up pollution, and potentially causing harm to life, environment, and property. Town & City road and park staff are the front line of managing rainwater runoff. As professionals evolve to more intensive maintenance and costly replacements, so must we all evolve. Improvements on all lands are needed, and we all have a part to play. Events will include: Presentations, Displays and Resource fair Resident input sessions on problem areas Hands-on equipment or site tours Hear from & Talk to Local/State staff, Contractors, & Conservationists
