Join us for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Training Program Information Session on February 10th, 2020. Medical Assistants (MAs) perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks as an integral part of the clinical care team. They interact directly with patients under the supervision of a provider and/or nurse manager. Overview: • Up to 20 individuals will be selected and hired by Dartmouth-Hitchcock to become Medical Assistants working in our Lebanon area clinics. An additional 10 individuals will be selected and hired to work in our D-H Keene clinics. • An initial 11-week paid training period will prepare you with the skills and knowledge you need to be a Medical Assistant (MA). • Upon successful completion of the training program, you will sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam and be enrolled in a 2000-hour registered apprenticeship with the US Department of Labor.
