BeMobile/Verizon Crayon Drive

We at Bemobile/Verizon in Hanover are getting ready to hold our Annual Crayon Drive for Crazy Crayons.  Crazy Crayons is a national program that has been recycling crayons for over 29 years! Starting in 1993 in an Oregon grocery store now they have helped recycle over 120,000 pounds of crayons.
The Martonosi family has taken this venture from their basement to a warehouse in Arizona where they partner with developmentally disabled adult centers to employ dozens of people to help sort crayons to be recycled. The recycled crayons are given to children in schools across the nation and sold at retailers for additional fundraising for future efforts. This great program keeps millions of crayons from going to a landfill and helps put smiles on children's faces across the nation.  They have promised to process the crayons quickly, and get them back to our local Hospitals and schools.  If you have any old used crayons that will be disposed of at the
end of the school year or any used crayons in your home that are no longer being used, we would be more than happy to have you drop them off at our Bemobile/Verizon location at 63 South Main Street, Hanover, to help this worthy organization.
