Martínez Celaya will discuss the decade-long development of the exhibition The Grief of Almost, currently on view at the Hood Museum, and its exploration of the human drive toward self-understanding and desire to live a meaningful life. Martínez Celaya is an artist, author, and former physicist whose work has been exhibited and collected by major institutions worldwide. He is Provost Professor of Humanities and Arts at the University of Southern California and a Montgomery Fellow at Dartmouth College.
