A Little Lunch Music: Lisa Piccirillo with Jeremy Mendicino

Lisa Piccirillo and her collaborator/producer Jeremy Mendicino perform songs from her recent full-length release, Radiate, a collection of original material exploring the vast emotional landscape of a woman reclaiming her creative identity.

This concert is part of UVMC’s free faculty concert series, A Little Lunch Music, presented in the UVMC Bach Room.

About the artists

Lisa Piccirillo has toured the country performing as a solo artist and as a member of Hotels & Highways. Lisa plays guitar, ukulele, piano, and percussion instruments, but considers vocal harmony her specialty. Lisa graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY with a major in elementary education and went on to receive her Music Together certification at the MT headquarters in Hopewell, NJ. She can be seen performing around the Upper Valley with her pop-rock cover band, The Tricksters, and her original records, Momentum and Radiate, are available on all streaming platforms.

Born to two musical parents, Jeremy Mendicino grew up in Burlington, Vermont amidst various instruments and home recording equipment, and was occasionally carted, very willingly, along to sessions at local recording studios. In 2004, Mendicino set up shop in a ranch house in Shelburne, Vermont along with his Video Pigeon band mates. They recorded two albums there, while graciously allowing Jeremy to record other bands (including Pretty & Nice, Codetta, and a few others), until 2006 when Pretty & Nice stole him away for a life of travel and performance. Now back in Vermont, Jeremy produces and records clients all along the East Coast. With a penchant for analog technology, tape recording, and early synthesis, he brings a meticulous ear as well as a love for deconstruction and sonic abstraction. He also now sits on the board of the Vermont Music Lab and is excited to continue to attract creativity to the Northeast from near and far.
