Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in various types of roofing or a related construction industry field. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform service calls, installations and inspections according to company standards.
Diagnose and assess leaks and other roofing issues accurately, and implement solutions
Document all work performed, including taking photos and completing service reports
Communicate with customers professionally.
Identify and report additional repair needs or potential issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including company vehicles, shop, and customer premises
Work cooperatively with team members and management to perform tasks efficiently
Experience
Proven experience in roofing or related fields is preferred.
Familiarity with roofing, siding, gutter installations and general construction is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required to ensure high-quality work.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
