Good Neighbor Health Clinics Receives Grant From Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund

White River Junction, VT       (May 12, 2023)            To help those in need receive vital care and services, Good Neighbor Health Clinics is excited to announce that it has received a grant from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund.

“We are truly excited and honored to have been chosen to receive this funding,” said Elizabeth Austin, Executive Director, Good Neighbor Health Clinic and Red Logan Dental Clinic.  “This kind donation will make a significant impact for those we serve while allowing us to continue supporting a broad range of patient needs including prescription eye wear, diagnostic testing, and interpreter services.”

The Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund makes grants to tax exempt organizations without regard to religious affiliation for projects that help people in New Hampshire meet their basic needs.  The fund is operated by volunteer laymen and laywomen who serve as directors and make recommendations to the Bishop of Manchester for grants to any organization in New Hampshire whose mission is consistent with the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.  The Fund raises money through solicitation of individuals, businesses, and philanthropic organizations.

“For over three decades, Good Neighbor Health Clinics have played a critical role in providing quality health care to vulnerable residents of the Upper Valley,” said Anu Mullikin, Esq, chair of the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund.  “All of the care they provide is at no cost to their patients and we are thrilled to support their enduring cause.”
