Join Upper Valley Young Professionals for a meetup at the December Norwich Community Dance. Dances will be taught, no experience necessary.Saturday, December 9, 2023 · 7:15 - 9:15 pm
Join us for a meetup at the December Norwich Community Contra Dance! Beginners welcome. All dances will be taught at a refresher session at 7:15 pm.
Contra dancing is a must-do New England tradition. The dance starts at 7:30, with a beginner session at 7:15. Beginners always welcome - if you can walk, you can contra.
Sliding Scale Admission: $20 Dance Supporters | $12 General Admission | $8 Students | Under 16 free. Venmo, cash, and check accepted. Addmission covered the live band and caller.
What to wear/bring:
- Wear comfortable clean shoes (no muddy boots or heels that mark the floor please!)
- Wear layers as they’ll probably get warm
- Bring a water bottle
- OPTIONAL: There will be pot luck snacks at the break so you are welcome, but not required, to bring something to share.
