Intro to Spinning

In this 3-part class, you’ll learn the basics of hand-spinning yarn. We will start out learning how to draft the fiber and then spin it into yarn. Over the three classes you will learn how to ply and set your yarn. We’ll briefly touch on parts of the wheel and wheel maintenance, different ways to prepare fiber, different types of wool, and different techniques for spinning. There will be time for you to practice between classes and come back with questions!
