Fold PeaceBirds on First Friday
On First Friday April 4, JAM invites our Upper Valley community to fold doves and cranes with artists Mona Shiber and JuPong Lin that will be added to the project to honor every life flown too soon. JuPong Lin will read aloud poetry from her play, “Phoenix in the Holy Land” which tells the story of three ceasefire activists involved in a small town’s fight to end the assault on Palestinian life.
ABOUT The PeaceBirds Project
The PeaceBirds Project is a community engaged art action that integrates shared stories of grief and renewal amidst the anguish of the repeated erasure of the people, culture, history, Land and Water in what is left of Palestine. This project grew out of a shared desire of two artist friends, Mona Shiber and JuPong Lin, to transform the agony of witnessing atrocities happening around the world. See the exhibit in JAM until April 5, 2025.
