WINE SCHOOL: Fizz & Finesse!
We’ll discuss the origins of sparkling wine, with a focus on the iconic Champagne region in France. We’ll walk through the traditional method used to create Champagne and its role as the benchmark for quality sparkling wine worldwide. This class will dive into the key grape varieties used in sparkling wine production, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, and explore how these grapes contribute to the distinct flavors and aromas in each glass!

Instructor Bio:
Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. She recently completed her Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification and is currently pursuing the WSET Diploma. In her spare time you can find her watching documentaries, attempting to bake, or crafting!
