Chenyu Wang at Roots & Wings Coffeehouse

Upper Valley Music Center partners with Roots & Wings Coffeehouse to present a concert with pianist Chenyu Wang. Wang, a member of UVMC’s piano faculty, has been awarded several prizes in national and international competitions – including The American Prize (2019-2022), IBLA Annual International Music Competition (2019), and Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition (2019) – and has performed in China, Italy and the USA. This program includes music by Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Prokofiev as well as two pieces by Chinese composers, which incorporate traditional Chinese motifs and evoke famous landscapes and stories.
