Andrew VanNorstrand and Alex Sturbaum

Two of the most engaging performers in the trad/roots music scene are coming together as a duo for the very first time!  Andrew VanNorstrand (The Faux Paws, Great Bear Trio) and Alex Sturbaum (Countercurrent, The Engine Room) are both exceptional singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists.  Their combined repertoire includes songs and tunes from both sides of the Atlantic.  Celtic and Country, the maritimes and the prairies, sailors and cowboys, ceilidhs and honky tonks.  Andrew and Alex explore the connections between these musical worlds with humor and compassion.
