American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification Course

Looking for a rewarding summer job, a valuable resume builder, or a lifelong certification? Join our upcoming American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course and become certified to teach swimming and water safety.

The WSI certification is the highest-level swim instructor certification offered by the American Red Cross and is recognized by aquatic facilities nationwide. It is an excellent opportunity for high school students, college students, lifeguards, coaches, and anyone interested in teaching swimming.

Required Pre-Course Evaluation

• Friday, July 17 | 5:00–7:00 PM (Backup Date: Tuesday, July 21)

Course Schedule

• Friday, July 24 | 2:30–7:45 PM
• Saturday, July 25 | 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Sunday, July 26 | 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old by July 26
• Successfully pass the required swim skills evaluation (Red Cross Level 4 proficiency)
• Complete the online orientation before the course begins
