DESCRIPTION:Join Revels North for a six-week course with world renowned clog dancer Laurel Swift \n\nFebruary 13 - March 19\, 2024\n\n6:15 pm - 8:30 pm\n\nLearn dances that explore a variety of rhythms and ways of making sounds with the clogs. Laurel will teach some of Pat Tracey's dances\, which originate from East Lancashire in the North of England. Beginners class is suitable for those who've never tried clog dancing before or those who have done a little and would like a steady and supportive learning environment to get to grips with a complete routine. The intermediate/advanced class is for those who have experience of clog or other percussive forms and are confident at copying and retaining steps. Learn an intermediate dance and focus on accuracy of the style\, then have a play with choreography and variations.\n\nThere will be some clogs available to borrow\, you can also wear hard soled shoes\, ideally with no heel.\n\nStarts Tuesday 13th February and continues on Feb 20th\, Feb 27th\, March 5th\, March 12 and finishing on March 19th.\n\nBeginners: 6:15pm - 7.15pm  Intermediate/Advanced: 7.30pm - 8.30pm\n\nCost for 6 week course: $125
