DESCRIPTION:Explore the fundamentals of handbell ringing in this free workshop at Kilton Library. Members of the Upper Valley Ringers will teach the basic techniques of ringing with a bell choir. Participants will learn how to follow music arranged for this unique instrument and experience the joy of playing a part in the ensemble! \n\nNo handbell experience required. Reading music is helpful\, but not required for participation. \n\nThis workshop will include a lot of time standing. Please let us know if you need accommodation in order to participate and we can plan accordingly. \n\nAges 8 and up   young students who don't yet read music are encouraged to attend with an adult who can help them follow along.\n\n\n\nPre-registration required by March 27.
